Early this morning I stepped out on the side porch before the neighborhood woke. Before the day’s chores began. Before one thing led to another. One squirrel eyed me from an oak branch. Her day hadn’t quite started yet either.

That’s a lot of leaves. :-)
Yes. We’ve raked three times and some are still on the trees.
Wow. I really am blind. Where’s the squirrel?
LOL! I’m blind too. I’ve been squinting, trying to see where it is…..but still love the scene:)
Ah, yes, our squirrel. She and I have quite a relationship. I stepped inside to get my iPhone (the only camera I had at the time) and she disappeared. Maybe she started her work for the day.
I love th fall. Thankfully we live on top of a hill so we see the beatiful leaves fall to the ground one day, the next day they are blown away.
Lucky you! We live in the town, right on a park. The only responsible thing to do is keep the sidewalks clear.
The seasons are such a joy. I love every change but especially fall. Lovely photo!
Thank you so much. I’m so excited about my new camera, though. I’ll be posting better photos soon!
I am often awake quite early these days, but it’s not to admire a beautiful fall morning. My little one has been a morning person as of late. Thanks for reminding me that there’s more to six am than nursing and Words with Friends.
Ah, yes, mornings with a baby. You do think that it will never end, but it does. I am wishing you a good night’s sleep, my friend.
